About North Art
Our story
North Art is a platform dedicated to supporting, promoting, and connecting artists across Yorkshire and the North. Founded in 2017 by artist and creative entrepreneur Tim Miller, North Art was created in response to the limited exhibition opportunities, visibility, and support available to many emerging and established artists.
Based at Chapel Allerton Arts Centre in Leeds, North Art provides a welcoming gallery space where artists can exhibit their work, connect with new audiences, and develop their creative practice. Alongside a programme of solo exhibitions, group shows, and community-led projects, we offer members the opportunity to display their work on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Our mission is simple: to help artists gain greater exposure, build their professional profile, and create opportunities to sell and share their work. Through our gallery, online platforms, publications, and promotional support, we champion creativity and celebrate the diverse artistic talent found across the region.
